NA 087 Railway standardisation committee
The German Railway Standardisation Committee (FSF) of DIN is responsible for all railway-specific standardisation work in the field of vehicles, track and system-related matters with the exception of electrical and electronic applications.
It represents the German interests in European and International standardisation, in particular with regard to CEN/TC 256 Railway Applications and holds the Secretariat of CEN/TC 256.
There is close contact to all committees of CEN-/CENELEC- and ISO/lEC which are engaged in aspects of railway. Furthermore FSF organises the standardisation work of cableways.
